Jason Canales has over 20 years of experience litigating in federal and state courts, and before regulatory agencies and arbitration tribunals. While working as a partner at a preeminent law firm in New York City, he first established his reputation as a leader in the legal industry working on complex federal and state court matters, and before regulatory agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, and the New York Attorney General’s Office. In 2019, Jason formed Canales PLLC with the goal of building a minority-owned law firm that taps into the diverse experiences of its professionals to provide clients with creative and cost-efficient solutions to their legal needs.

Jason currently serves as the 67th President of the Puerto Rican Bar Association. Committee members are appointed by the Court based on their legal knowledge and reputation in the industry for their commitment to integrity and fairness.
